Nature Day: Fairy Dell Trail

Fairy Dell Trail is a beautiful trail from Battle Point Park, down through a canyon, or dell, full of trees and ferns and fairy magic. The trail runs along a little stream, with several small bridges that cross over the stream. It ends on the beach.

This is a different beach to explore than some of the other ones we visit.

We are not the only ones who visit this beach!

If you look hard enough, you will always find sea creatures.

There is a crumbling clay cliff that beckons to the kids to show how strong they are as they break the rock and grind it up.

We also did some writing and drawing in the sand.

During snack our imaginations take over. Here is the guard.

He is guarding the king and queen, and the other important beings in the Fairy Dell.
