The Treehouse Is Open!

It took a lot longer than we expected, but we finally were able to officially open the treehouse for our end-of-year picnic. The children were so excited to head inside and check it out!

It's a large space, big enough to hold circle time, and story time, as well as play all sorts of imaginative games. It's covered, and has a tree trunk right in the middle. The builders (ICP parents) were able to be really creative with the details.

Like this chalk board wall! This will be fun. The treehouse will also be another great place to come in out of the rain on those typical NW showery days. We are looking forward to exploring this new space during our summer playdates on Tuesdays throughout the summer!
