More Seeds

The Orca class is exploring seeds in a variety of ways. Here we made newspaper pots for starting our seeds.

We planted some heirloom seeds for radish, chard, carrots, lettuce and peas.

These seeds will go under a grow light inside the school. We will plant the rest of these seeds in large pots outside in the sunshine. What will happen? Will the seeds grow in the same way? Next week we have our first spring Farm School day with the Educulture Project at Morales Farm. We may do some planting in the greenhouse.
