Pumpkin Harvest

We recently harvested all of the sugar pumpkins that we grew on the farm.

We learned about the different parts of the pumpkin plant, and we found them all in the field. Then we gathered all of the pumpkins from the field, and lined them up. After counting them, we had 97 pumpkins!

We loaded them into Teacher Ellen's car, and we drove to Helpline House, where we delivered 40 pumpkins to the food bank.

At preschool we have hammered them, tasted them, carved and painted them, and made them into pumpkin pie!
