ICP Celebrations of Light

In the winter, dark time of the year we learn about the way different people in the world bring in the light. We also have our Celebration of Light parties in each class. The preschool is filled with hundreds of fairy lights making it a magical place indeed. We play with flashlights, and things that make shadows, and we even play we a reindeer.

We make special gifts for our parents. The Orcas very carefully, and with a lot of tape, wrapped their presents.

We sing songs and make wishes.

We pass the light we carry in our hearts around the circle, and think of ways we can share that light with others.
