The Dolphin Class
There are so many ways for children to express their creativity in the preschool classroom. Singing, telling and writing stories, exploring art materials, building things, imagining... the list could go on and on. Here is one little girl's creative way to combine dance and painting.
Another important part of the preschool experience is developing friendship skills. This particular activity under the umbrella took sharing (who was going to hold the umbrella, and who can walk under it?), communication, coordination, and a lot of fun!
We have been practicing our scissor skills. A tray of different types of materials has been out with scissors for the children's work.
Not only does this show that this little one has begun to master basic scissoring, but it also shows her persistence in cutting, and cutting, and cutting!
This was fun- Googly-Eyed Soup! These eyes were difficult to work with as they floated away from your scooper in the water, and they stick to things!
