Celebrations of Light

To end our preschool time together before the winter break, we have our Celebrations of Light. We fill the classroom with hundreds of twinkly lights.

We play with light, and flashlights, and changing light, and shadows, and glow in the dark, and sparkles.

We sing songs, and dance, and play the jingle bells.

Our families join us, and we share special food.

It is a very special day for all of us!

This year, the Orcas made Quiet Lanterns, and we practiced being quiet and enjoying the special time when our lanterns were lit.
