Fall outdoor chores

The big leaf maple on our playground is blanketing our school with beautiful, large leaves. Every day we are excited to see how much things have changed as more and more leaves cover the ground. We gathered them into a large bucket.

It took some team work to haul that bucket across the playground.

We dumped the leaves into the special place that has been made to collect them. These will be added gradually to our compost bin to help make healthy compost. We also collect our snack scraps and add those, too!
