Mother's Day Tea Parties

Teacher Ellen
Our mothers are very important to us, and so we try to go out of our way to celebrate them. Even the youngest children can do something special for their moms.

The children in the Penguin class baked scones for their Mamas.

It was fun to work with the dough, and cut the scones into heart shapes.

We ate them with butter and jam- yum!

We gave our mothers beautiful flowers and a card we had made.

The Sea Otter class had a sure 'nuf real tea party for their mamas. They helped make the shortcake for strawberry shortcake.

Everyone had tea or lemonade in fancy cups.

The Dolphin and Orca classes made party hats for themselves and their moms. Here is the Orca class preparing to head to the tea party.

This friend even made her own shoes for the occasion!

After the tea, we sang our moms a special song, and told them a story we had prepared. Then we asked our moms to dance.

We also wrote poems to our moms, and made them beautiful pictures and presents.
We love you, Mom!
