Learning About Safety

Early in the school year we learn about safety. This includes the safety rules at preschool, and it includes seatbelts, fire safety, and earthquake drills, among other things.

A trip to the fire station is always important. We learn about the tools that an engine carries.

And watching the fire fighter is fascinating, no matter what he's doing.

A favorite thing to do is to get in the fire boat! We live on an Island, so water rescues are an important thing our fire fighters do.
