Outdoor Tidy and Family BBQ

Saturday we gathered together to set an example for what a true cooperative is all about. We had our annual Outdoor Tidy and Family BBQ. Many ICP families sowed up and worked hard to get our outdoor spaces ready for school.

We hauled and raked 10 yards of playground chips. Boy, does it look great!

Everyone helped, and there was time for visiting and re-connecting as well.

Even the littlest ones helped! This sweet girl happily cheered her daddy on.

There was work for all ages. These friends worked together to scrub the table.

We created a fire pit (just for pretend). The boys who helped had to take a little time out to roast some marshmallows. I can just see lots of stories and activities happening around our campfire.

The hot dogs were excellent. Just this guy- he had a hot dog and a sausage!

We ended the day with a BBQ and time for relaxing, enjoying the beauty we all helped create, and some play and visiting. What a great start to our school year! Thank you, everyone!
