Summertime, and the living is easy!

Even though the weather has been iffy this summer, the playing has been fine! We continue to meet every Wednesday morning on our new playground and visit and play together. Many friends have also joined our play dates, and it is still so rewarding to see the children embracing the playscape. We are opening our play dates to the whole community form the month of August, which should be lots of fun!
Our farm plot at Morales farm is absolutely amazing! In fact, it's the nicest looking thing there, right now. The potatoes have purple flowers, and the pumpkins have grown from golf balls, to baseballs, and now some are even small soccer balls! The flowers are getting tall, and some have buds. In a week it should be quite pretty to see! Thanks to the families who come on Tuesdays to farm and then picnic. I will get some photos next week and post them.
Play dates in the preschool classroom are being scheduled for August as well. This is an opportunity for the community to come and enjoy both the inside and the outside of our wonderful school. Art, exploratory activities, play, songs, dance, and more!
